Minimum Age

Candidate age should not be less than 23 years.

Technical Qualification

Degree or diploma from a recognized institution in specified engineering disciplines.

Boiler Experience

Relevant operation and/or maintenance experience of boilers is required.

A. Qualification

The candidate should have a Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution in any one of the following engineering disciplines:

1Mechanical Engineering
2Electrical Engineering
3Chemical Engineering
4Instrumentation Engineering
5Power Plant Engineering
6Production Engineering

B. Experience

Candidates should have experience in operation and/or maintenance of boilers for the following minimum periods:

2YNot less than two years in case of Degree holders.
5YNot less than five years in case of Diploma holders.
1YNot less than one year in case of Degree holders with PG Diploma from NPTI.
Candidates should verify the latest notification issued by the respective State or Union Territory Boiler Department, as document requirements and application procedure may vary slightly from state to state.
